Simon

Director

The third generation of the Powell family to work under the roof. Simon is our Director and loves to learn. Before becoming part of the team, he was involved in a myriad of projects, including the worlds first internet film premiere.

Sophie

Accounts, Admin and Fisker Specialist

It’s safe to say Sophie is talented in many areas. She joined us in 2024 and is trusted in the Accounts, Admin and Fisker departments acting as our Fisker Expert. Outside of work, her passion is music. In fact, if she goes missing, you'll likely find her at a festival!

Olly

Sales Executive and Motability Specialist

The fourth generation of Powell to work under the roof! Olly joined the team in 2025 after gaining experience under one of the biggest brands in the market. Outside of work you'll find him filming cars for Social Media, or in the gym trying his best to move.

Garry

Sales Manager and Motability Specialist

Garry joined us in 2002, and has since gained an unbelievable amount of knowledge surrounding our brand partners over the years. He loves people and is passionate about giving the best experience we can. Outside of work, he's a qualified Scuba diver keen to explore colourful reefs wherever he can!

Tahseen

Stock Manager

Taz first joined us during his 2019 work experience, and liked it that much he joined full-time in 2021! He's since continued to grow with us, and is now our Stock Manager in charge of the logistics surrounding used cars. Outside of work his passion for cars remains just as strong, you can’t keep him away from them!

Paul

Sales Assistant

Paul has been a valued member of the team since 2023 and now works with us part-time. Outside of work, he spends his time chasing adventures. Whether he's taking his bike on a road trip, or camping somewhere remote, you can trust he’s ready to go and live!

Abbie

Service Advisor

Abbie joined us in 2022 and is likely the first face you'll see when you visit, often with Bowser the dog as her trusty side-kick. Outside of work, she's a reader and known to get through a book a day. Be warned, if you leave her in charge of the music, it won’t take long for Take That to come through the speakers.

Darryl

Service Manager

Darryl started in the motor trade as a technician in 1997 before then moving his focus to parts. He became a manager aged 21 and moved that knowledge to Baden Powell in 2006. He remains to be a fountain of knowledge regardless of the car in front of him, and a real asset to team. If he’s not here, you’ll likely find him watching the Liverpool game.

Sharon

Parts Advisor

Sharon joined us in 2025, and is our go to person for all things parts-related. She not only has an incredible knowledge of the trade, but also has one skill after another outside of work too. From running Zumba Classes to Pet sitting and more, Sharon can do it all and often does!

Steven

Steve started at Powells in 1974, making him the longest running staff member we have! He's had multiple roles over the years, from mechanic to service driver and beyond. If you want to know more about our businesses history, he is absolutely the man to speak to. With stories galore, Steve has remained a constant source of hospitality for our customers over the years, and is always there to help, no matter the task.

Dave

Master Technician

Dave joined the team in 2016 and never ceases to make you laugh. When he’s not hard at work, he'll be found driving and making memories. He loves a good road trip and loves experiencing life even more; having driven routes across Ireland, America and Europe to name a few. Dave is the biggest advocate for doing something fun and we should all learn something from it!

Ryan

Technician

Ryan joined the team in 2020 and is a force of nature within the workshop. When he’s outside of work he loves a good road trip too, collecting the odd souvenir to leave on display in his car. Ryan loves working on cars to the extent he even has a project one at home!

Joe

Apprentice Technician

Joe joined in 2023, and has been working closely with the after-sales team to expand his knowledge and passion for cars. Cars aren’t his only passion though, as outside of workshop you can find him in the gym or playing with his Sunday League team. It’s safe to say he’s a talent both in the business and on the pitch.

Danny

Valet Team

Acting as one of two people who make up the valet team, Dan is always on hand to ensure a car goes out looking the best it can. With a great eye for detail and plenty of experience behind him, he is responsible for making a car look even more special before it is collected.

Gay

Valet Team

Gay joined us in 1994 and is our second longest running member of staff! With a passion for good music and an incredible eye for detail, all of our sold cars are in very good hands. We trust no one more than Gay to put her seal of approval on a sold car.
