Simon

Director

As the third generation of the Powell family to work under the businesses roof, Simon is our Director and loves to learn more each and every day. Life for him has not always been in the motor trade though, as he has been involved in many interesting projects over the years including the worlds first internet film premiere!

Sophie

Accounts, Admin and Fisker Specialist

Having joined the team in 2024, it’s safe to say Sophie is talented in many areas. Trusted in the Accounts, Admin and Fisker departments, she holds a fountain of knowledge as our in-house Fisker Expert. She is always on hand to help, and outside of work her passion goes into music. You will likely find her at a music festival enjoying herself!

Olly

Sales Executive and Motability Specialist

Olly joined the business in 2025, and is not only a Salesman, but also now the fourth generation of Powell to work under the roof! Having spent a few years gaining skills within the industry, he is on hand to help. Outside of work you can find him either filming cars for Social Media, or in the gym trying his best to move.

Garry

Sales Manager and Motability Specialist

Garry joined the Baden Powell team in 2002, and has amassed an unbelievable amount of knowledge about each and every one of our brands over the years. He loves people and ensuring they have the best experience they can with us. Outside of work his skills continue to grow, as he is a qualified and avid Scuba diver exploring reefs wherever he can!

Tahseen

Stock Manager

Taz first wore the Baden Powell uniform as part of his 2016 work experience. He liked it that much he chose to come back and join the team in 2019! He has since continued to grow his skills with us and is now our very own Stock Manager in charge of logistics surrounding our lovely used cars. Outside of work his passion for cars remains just as strong, you can’t keep him away form them!

Paul

Sales Assistant

Paul has been part of the team for years and now works with us part-time. Outside of his working hours, he spends the rest of his time chasing adventures. Whether it be a road trip on his bike, or camping somewhere remote, you can trust he’s ready to go and do something.

Abbie

Service Advisor

Abbie joined us in 2022 and holds an unbelievable amount of knowledge surrounding our brands and also has Bowser the dog as her trusty side-kick. Outside of the business, she is a dedicated reader and known to get through a whole book in a day. Be warned, if you leave her in charge of the showroom music, it won’t take long for Take That to be playing through the speakers.

Darryl

Service Manager

Darryl started in the motor trade in as a technician in 1997 before later moving his focus to the parts department. With his skill and dedication, he became a manager at aged 21 and moved that knowledge to Baden Powell in 2006. He remains to be a fountain of knowledge regardless of the car you put in front of him. If he’s not here, you’ll likely find him watching the Liverpool game.

Sharon

Parts Advisor

Sharon joined the team in 2025, and is our go to person for all parts related questions. She not only has an incredible knowledge of the trade after years of experience, but also has one skill after another outside this too. From running Zumba Classes to Pet sitting and more, Sharon can do it all and does!

Steven

Steve started working for the business in 1974, making him the longest running staff member we have on-site! He has had multiple roles over the years, from mechanic to service driver and more, and he is absolutely the man to speak to if you want to know more behind our years in business. With stories galore, Steve has remained to be a constant source of welcoming hospitality for our customers over the years, and is always there to help regardless of the task.

Dave

Master Technician

Dave joined the team in 2016 and never ceases to make you laugh. When he’s not hard at work, he can be found driving around the world making memories before it’s too late. He loves a good road trip and loves experiencing life even more; having driven routes across Ireland, America and Europe to name a few places, he is the biggest advocate for doing something fun.

Ryan

Technician

Ryan joined the team in 2020 and remains to be a force of nature within the workshop with his skills. When he’s outside of work he loves a good road trip too, collecting the odd memory to leave on display in his car, however, cars are that entwined with his life, he even has a project car at home!

Joe

Apprentice Technician

Joe joined the team in 2023, and has been working with the after-sales team to expand his knowledge and passion for cars each and every day. Cars aren’t his only passion though, as outside of workshop you can find him in either the gym or playing with his Sunday League team. It’s safe to say he’s a talent both in the business and on the pitch.

Danny

Valet Team

Dan is one of two people who make up the valet team and is always on hand to ensure a car goes out looking the best it can. With a great eye for detail and plenty of experience, he is the man to make a car look special before a customer drives away in it for the first time.

Gay

Valet Team

Gay joined the business in 1994 and is our second longest running member of staff on site. With a passion for good music and an incredible eye for detail, all of our sold cars are in very good hands. We trust no one more than Gay to put her seal of approval on a car.
